Features

Everything UpdateTinus is building to help you announce product changes your customers actually enjoy reading.

Last updated

UpdateTinus is a pre-launch tool for teams who want release notes to feel like good news instead of homework. Below is what we are building. Some pieces are working in our early-access preview, others are still being shaped, and we label each one honestly.

Zero-friction publishing

Write an update in a clean editor, add a screenshot or a short GIF, tag it as New, Improved or Fixed, and publish. Every entry lands on a public changelog timeline with its own shareable link. Drafts, scheduled posts and simple Markdown are part of the core experience, so nobody needs to wait on a developer to share a launch.

In-app widgets and beacons

The beacon is a small, friendly indicator you place inside your product. When something new ships, it gently lights up, and a click opens a panel with your latest updates without sending people away from what they were doing. The widget is designed to be embedded with a single script tag, and it inherits your colors so it feels native rather than bolted on.

Feedback and emoji reactions

Every update can collect quick emoji reactions, so you get an instant sense of what landed well. For deeper input, feedback boards let customers suggest ideas, vote on them and follow progress. Reactions and votes are meant to inform your team, not replace real conversations with your users.

Public and private roadmaps

Share what is planned, in progress and shipped. Keep a public roadmap for everyone, or a private one visible only to selected audiences such as beta testers or a specific customer group. When a roadmap item ships, it can link straight to the matching changelog entry, closing the loop for the people who asked for it.

Integrations (in preview)

We are building sync with tools teams already use: pull merged work from GitHub or completed issues from Linear to draft notes faster, and push announcements to Slack or Discord channels. A Zapier connection is planned for everything else. These integrations are in preview: behavior may change, and not every option is available yet.

Custom domain and branding

Host your changelog on your own subdomain, such as updates.yourproduct.com, and match fonts, colors and logo to your brand. On planned paid tiers you will also be able to remove UpdateTinus branding entirely.

A note on status

UpdateTinus is in early access. Features described here reflect our current direction and may change as we learn from early users. Questions or ideas? Write to [email protected].

GitHub, Linear, Zapier, Discord and Slack are named only as integration targets. All trademarks belong to their owners, and no partnership or endorsement is implied.
