What is UpdateTinus?

UpdateTinus is a tool for publishing joyful product release notes. It combines a public changelog, an in-app beacon widget with emoji reactions, customer feedback boards and public or private roadmaps, so the people using your product actually notice what you ship.

Is UpdateTinus available today?

Not publicly. We are pre-launch and running a small early-access preview. You can join the waitlist from the early-access page, and we will reach out personally when a spot fits.

How long does it take to embed the widget?

The beacon widget is designed to be added with a single script tag pasted into your app. How long that takes depends on your setup and deployment process, so we do not promise a specific time, but we have worked hard to keep it simple.

Do I need to create an account to join?

No. There is no sign-up system yet. The early-access form saves your answers in your browser and opens a pre-filled email that you choose whether to send.

How much will it cost?

Early access is free. Our planned tiers are Free at $0, Starter at $29 per month and Growth at $79 per month. These are planned prices, nothing is billed today, and they may change before launch.

Which integrations do you support?

We are building sync with GitHub and Linear, announcements to Slack and Discord, and a Zapier connection. All of these are in preview or planned, so availability and behavior may change. Trademarks belong to their owners.

Can I use my own domain and branding?

Yes, that is planned. Custom domains and the option to remove UpdateTinus branding are part of the planned Starter tier, and you can match colors and logo to your product.

Can I keep some releases private?

Private roadmaps, audience segmentation and private releases are on our plan, so you could show certain updates only to beta testers or specific customer groups.

What happens to my data?

At this stage we only hold what you send us by email. If you want it deleted, contact [email protected].

How do I report a security concern?

Please email [email protected] with as much detail as you can. We appreciate responsible disclosure and will reply as soon as we are able.

Can I suggest a feature?

Absolutely. Early-access feedback directly shapes our roadmap, which is a plan rather than a promise. Send ideas to [email protected].
