Married at First Sight served up another explosive dinner party on Wednesday night with two brides going head-to-head.
Viewers were expecting an explosive showdown between Bec Zacharia and Alissa Fay, after Bec’s vile texts about Alissa emerged.
Heading into the dinner party, Alissa told husband David Momoh that she was not going to shy away from the texting drama, or the other attacks she and David had been subjected to throughout the experiment.
‘I refuse to play the game anymore and be that pawn in the middle,’ Alissa told producers.
‘I have never said a bad word about anyone, so I’m not going to tolerate it anymore. Enough is enough.’
Bec attempted to broach the subject during pre-dinner cocktails, but a frosty Alissa was having none of it, telling Bec to save it for the table.

With palpable tension around the table, Alissa honed in on Bec and her vile text messages.
She explained to the table that Gia Fleur had sent Juliette Chae the messages, and prior to leaving, Juliette passed them on to Alissa.
‘Reading those messages brought up a lot of hurt,’ she said, addressing Bec.
‘They were the most vicious, vulgar… I would never say that to someone in real life, let alone in a message.’
Adding that while she recognised Gia’s role in the drama, Alissa said she could not get over the invective Bec displayed in the texts.
‘Gia played a part in them as well, but what came out of your mouth, I’m telling you, I was in tears, it was vile and vicious, babe.’
Continuing her dressing down, Alissa said that Bec’s behaviour had affected everyone in the experiment.
‘I’ve seen repetitive behaviour, not just with me, but with other people at this table where you’ve come for them.

Bec’s attempts at an apology did not wash with Alissa, however
‘Everyone has been affected by your behaviour, babe.’
Bec offered another apology but tempered it by saying that Alissa had only seen ‘snippets’ of the group chat exchange and not the offending messages from other brides.
‘We have a war,’ Bec said, referring to Gia. ‘But Gia sent them to Juliette and Juliette’s gone and s*** on everyone,’ she said.
‘What that’s done is hurt you two, when you guys don’t deserve to be hurt,’ Bec added, attempting to mitigate her role in the drama.
Bec’s attempts at an apology did not wash with Alissa, however.
‘I know that you’ve said sorry, but this s*** is f***ed. I just want to stay out of it,’ Alissa told Bec.
‘I’m here for my husband – I’m so lucky that I have David. Ultimately, I’m just going to put it to bed,’ she added as a very dejected Bec was put in her place.
Speaking to producers, Alissa said that there was little hope of her and Bec forging a friendship.

‘Bec and I have tried to work on our relationship and I’m sorry but I think I’ve given her way too many chances,’ she said
‘Bec and I have tried to work on our relationship and I’m sorry but I think I’ve given her way too many chances,’ she said.
‘I’m pretty disgusted.’
As Bec eventually turned her attention to rival bride Gia, it was clear that Alissa had had enough of the drama.
‘I don’t know what’s going on here, but I’m not playing your game anymore. Gia and Bec can just hate each other forever,’ she told producers.
‘I don’t want to get caught up in the ya-ya anymore.’
Watching the drama unfold, the experts praised Alissa for her calm and collected demeanour during the exchange.
‘This could’ve exploded, escalated, and got very hostile,’ John Aitken said.
‘It’s interesting that Alissa, she’s essentially stayed at a conversational tone and not escalated at all.’
