Police have released images of three men wanted in connection to the alleged mistaken identity kidnapping and murder of a Sydney grandfather.
Chris Baghsarian, 85, was taken from his North Ryde home on February 13 and bundled into a waiting SUV in what police say was a horrible case of mistaken identity.
Several days later police raided a property — which is believed to be where Baghsarian had been kept for some time — on Wildthorn Ave in the semi-rural suburb of Dural.
Police said the house had been identified with the help of disturbing images and videos, which had circulated online, showing Baghsarian bloodied, tied up and with a shirt wrapped around his head, along with an image of a severed finger.
Human remains later confirmed to be those of Baghsarian were found 11 days after his alleged kidnapping near a golf club in Pitt Town.

Two men, Daniel Stevens, 24, and Gerard Andrews, 29, were charged the next day with murder and take/detain in company with intent to ransom occasion actual bodily harm. Both men remain before the courts.
On Wednesday, police released CCTV of three other men detectives wish to speak to in connection to the alleged kidnapping and murder.
The footage appears to show three seemingly masked men walking towards the Dural property on the night of the alleged kidnapping.

The footage also shows a blue Hyundai sedan, with one missing hubcap on its left side, arriving and then leaving the same location just after 12pm the next day, February 14.
Two suspicious car fires on Good St in Westmead several days after Baghsarian’s alleged kidnapping are also believed to be linked to the case.
The vehicles were partially destroyed, however, detectives were able to make out a 2022 Toyota Corolla bearing Victorian registration, which had been reported stolen from that state on the same day as Baghsarian’s alleged kidnapping.
Baghsarian was farewelled in a private funeral on Monday and laid to rest at Macquarie Park Cemetery in North Ryde.
The widower is survived by his two children and grandchildren.
Anyone with information about the identity of the men seen in the CCTV or the driver of the blue car is urged to contact Crime Stoppers.
