Married At First Sight’s Stella Mickunaite has unveiled her deeply personal tribute to her rollercoaster time on the show.
The 32-year-old beauty technician, who found love with groom Filip Gregov during the experiment, got a bold new tattoo to commemorate her season – and it comes with a very pointed message.
Stella showed off her fresh ink on the back of her arm at the Daily Mail MAFS Final Dinner party on Sunday.
It reads ‘NBL 2026 13’, which symbolises both her journey on the show and a bold reclamation of a slur used against her.
‘I said to myself if it’s going to be successful, I’m getting a number 13 tattooed on my body,’ she explained.
‘I didn’t realise how successful it was going to be, so number 13 symbolises that initial thought.’

But it’s the meaning behind ‘NBL’ that has truly raised eyebrows.
Stella explained the phrase originally came from a shocking slur during filming.
‘As we all probably saw, there was some girl drama in the season and in the unseen footage on Stan we did see someone in the cast calling our table the NBLs – which was standing at the time for natural born losers,’ she explained.
Rather than shy away from the insult, Stella has turned it into a badge of honour.
‘The tattoo is actually to reclaim your power and I am rebranding it to Natural Born Legends,’ she added.
It is a defiant response to the explosive clashes between the brides that dominated much of the season, particularly during heated dinner parties and group challenges.
While Stella ultimately emerged as one of the season’s success stories, her journey was far from smooth sailing.
Throughout the experiment, she was repeatedly caught in the crossfire of feuds involving some of the show’s most outspoken brides, including Gia Fleur, Bec Zacharia and Brook Crompton.

Viewers watched as tensions erupted over loyalty, honesty and relationship dynamics, with Stella at times accused of being blunt and unfiltered in her delivery.
One particularly tense moment saw her call out a fellow bride in front of the group, leaving the table in stunned silence and cementing her reputation as someone unafraid to speak her mind.
Despite the chaos, Stella largely refused to be drawn into screaming matches, instead opting for a calmer, more measured approach that won her a loyal fan base.
Beyond the drama, Stella said the tattoo represents a much bigger message about resilience and growth.
‘You can’t engineer the situations that do occur in reality TV,’ she said.
‘You can take it as a lesson, you can take it as a legend to tell, and this is definitely a legend to tell in the future.’
She added that she hopes her story inspires others who have faced bullying or rejection.
‘It doesn’t matter, because when you grow up and spread your wings, none of that matters,’ she said.

The bride – who moved to Australia from Lithuania – also opened up about where her confidence comes from.
‘I think just knowing that I have my back,’ she said.
‘I had to learn at a young age to always have my back. Instead of focusing on the outside, I always focused on the inside.’
‘As long as my inside house is clean and full of light, I’ll be fine.’
