No one expected Rachel and Steven to be the couple embroiled in an X-rated scandal, but MAFS is full of surprises.
Unseen footage aired on the fourth episode of MAFS: After The Dinner Party, which you can stream now on Stan, revealed yet another shock – and put the usually innocent Steven clearly in the firing line.
Unseen footage puts Steven at centre of X-rated scandal
Footage from moments before Bec made her infamous crude toast showed Steven joking with her about the most explicit details of his intimacy with Rachel.
“Watching that back, I feel mortified. I’m even shaking just seeing that back,” Steven reacted.

Watching on, Rachel said the clip filled in the blanks of why Bec felt comfortable enough to make her joke in the first place.
“I thought I was supported and I thought my partner had my back,” Rachel said, but now it “all made sense”.
“You essentially gave a green light to it,” she told her husband.

Host Brittany Hockley said it now looked like Steven let Bec take the fall for something he too was part of.
Steven disagreed, saying that he never gave Bec permission to say something in front of the entire group.
“No, but it gives someone the impression that we are joking about this and that it’s light-hearted,” co-host Laura Byrne said.

During the retreat, Rachel and Bec’s problems were exacerbated by Gia and Juliette feeding information to Rach.
Looking back, Rachel had a very different opinion on why the duo got so involved in the drama.

That wasn’t the only drama discussed either! Danny and Scott came face-to-face after their friendship break-up, and further unseen footage shone a very different light on Scott’s “power couple” marriage to Gia.
