Coleen Nolan has broken her silence on her daughter and youngest child’s pregnancy after she announced over the weekend she is expecting her first child.
Loose Women star Nolan, 60, has two grandchildren from her sons Shane Nolan, 36 and Jake Roche, 32, and is now set to become a grandmother for a third time.
On Saturday, Ciara Fensome, 24, announced the happy news with a sweet social media post, with one photo showing her cradling her baby bump and another featuring her fiancé Maxx Innes as the couple held ultrasound images.
Former singer Nolan, who found fame at a young age alongside her sisters in girl group The Nolans, shared her thoughts on the news during Monday’s edition of Loose Women before posting further updates on social media, including her opposition to her daughter’s rule for when the baby comes.

“My daughter Ciara is expecting,” she shared during the ITV show, adding excitedly: “It will be my third grandchild.”
“And we’ve known for ages but we’ve been trying to you know, they like to keep it all secret, so she’s 20 weeks now,” she continued.
Brenda Edwards chimed: “Ok, so you know the sex, is there a bump?” to which Nolan replied: “Yes, but I’m not telling you!
“She has got a bump, it’s taken 20 weeks! I kept saying, ‘You’re not pregnant are you? You’re lying to me.'”
Sharing her daughter’s fears, the television personality added: “She’s so excited, she’s really scared and really worried.
“She just keeps saying, ‘You’ll have it most of the time’ and I’m like ‘not sure that’s in the contract.'”
Nolan couldn’t hide her joy as she admitted: “But anyway, I will… I’m already planning the nursery.”
The proud mother also updated her Instagram page later with the news, sharing a snap oh herself and Ciara on holiday together, with the latter smiling as she held her bump.
She penned: “I’m going to be a nanny for the 3rd time!! I can’t believe my baby is having a baby!
“Congratulations to my beautiful daughter Ciara and her fiancé Max, over the moon for you both.”
Taking to the comment section, well-wishers congratulated the family on the happy news.
“Omg congrats Ciara. Wow guys such fabulous news for you all. So exciting,” one person shared.
“That’s absolutely beautiful congratulations mummy x and congratulations nanny,” a second wrote.
“Congratulations. wonderful news,” someone else added, with another sharing: “So bloomin happy for you all. @ciarafensome you look fantastic. Love the pics of you both.”
“Fabulous news another precious grandchild is such an amazing gift… Enjoy it all,” another added.
One more commented: “Omg congrats Ciara. Wow guys such fabulous news for you all. So exciting.” (sic)

On her YouTube channel, Nolan posted a lengthy clip about the news. At one point, she expressed her disappointment over one of her daughter’s boundaries when it comes to the baby.
After her daughter explained she didn’t want to “show off” by posing all aspects of her life on social media, Nolan rolled her eyes and admitted: “I’m a big fat show off, thank you very much.”

“There’ll be no photos of my baby anywhere,” the mother-to-be clarified. Responding to Nolan’s annoyance, she added: “There can be photos of like, the back or the back of its face,” before demanding: “Shut up, we’ve already had this conversation.”
“You said you like that,” Ciara added, before Nolan confessed: “I lied”.
Ciara noted that the rule was for safety reasons and to protect her daughter from the “weird people out there”.
