SHANE Richie couldn’t resist a cheeky dig at his ex-wife Coleen Nolan as he appeared on This Morning today.

The EastEnders star, 60, sat down with This Morning’s Cat Deeley and Ben Shephard to talk about his character Alfie Moon’s latest storyline.

But actor Shane was quick to poke fun at Loose Women panellist Coleen, 59.

He said: “Great to be on This Morning, it was either that or Loose Women.”

The Loose ladies often discuss all aspects of their personal lives and Shane added: “And I only watch Loose Women now to see what I’m up to.”

Pointing to the camera, he said: “Those that know, ought to know.”

And Shane continued his jokes at the end of his interview when Cat, 48, and Ben, 49, cut to their sister show.

Coleen was seen standing with her co-stars Charlene White, Judi Love and Brenda Edwards.

Shane remarked: “I remember her! I watch it to see what I’m up to, what have I done now?”

Former couple Shane and Coleen were married from 1990 until 1999 and share sons Shane Jr, 35, and Jake, 32.

Shane previously admitted to being unfaithful during their marriage.

Writing in his memoir Rags to Riches, he said: “I was lying so much that I couldn’t remember which story I’d told to each of them. And I’d lie to cover up the lies.”

But Coleen has insisted there are no hard feelings between the two of them.

She said: “It’s been 20 years since me and Shane split up.

“I feel sorry for him because every time people say she was married to Shane Richie, ‘who cheated on her’, it’s like OK move on, we’ve moved on.”
