The death of a man in a home in Strathpine, north of Brisbane is being treated as suspicious.
Emergency services were called to a home on Navua Street just before 1am and found the body of a 36-year-old man.
Detective Inspector Phil Hurst said the man had been a “short-term resident” of the home and was known to the two other occupants.

He said emergency services were initially called to reports the man needed medical assistance.
“Police subsequently attended and located that he was in fact deceased,” Hurst said.
The man had no obvious injuries that could have caused his death.
An autopsy will be conducted tomorrow.
“We don’t have an understanding about what caused this death, and we are currently making those investigations to try and establish what has occurred and what led to this death,” Hurst said.
“There were some minor injuries and they’ll be examined by the pathologist in due course, but there was no injury that would overtly cause this person to die.”
He said a number of witnesses were assisting police but there was no one in custody.
“We have a number of witness versions and they don’t clearly explain what brought about this death, so it is subject to the investigation.”
Anyone with information is urged to contact police.
