DJ Akademiks seemingly responds after social media believes Nicki Minaj dissed Drake and PARTYNEXTDOOR.

While streaming live, Nicki Minaj seemingly referred to Drake and PND as “ugly boy 1” and “ugly boy 1” for working with “ugly girls.” Social media users believe the rapper is referring to the OVO partners as they both worked with Latto and Ice Spice, who have had public feuds with Minaj.

Akademiks chimed in and gave his opinion. “Yo, Nicki is f***ing petty, bro,” DJ Akademiks said. “I can’t believe that Nicki really treats the music industry like it’s high school. People are making money, man, people are making millions of dollars. You’re making millions of dollars. People are gonna collab with who they want. None of the beef that y’all have is that serious because, otherwise, you’d be pulling up on these b***hes.”

Ice Spice Speaks on Nicki Minaj

Minaj did not publicly confirm who she was referring to-however, during a previous interview- Ice does confirm she and Minaj have no beef. “We don’t have the closest relationship, you know? But we’re definitely good,” she told Rolling Stone. “We’re mutuals. We had smash records together. I love us together.- think the world does too.”

“I don’t really think she cares about shit like that coming from a random girl,” Ice said of Minaj. “But what I said in those texts was just in a moment of frustration around contract negotiations. I could have chose different words. But at the end of the day, regardless of how I felt in that moment, [Nicki] is still somebody I respect as an artist, and I’m always going to admire everything she’s done for me and the culture.”
