CCTV has shown the final moments of a toddler walking with her family before she was hit by a car and killed north of Brisbane.
The three-year-old girl was walking with her mother, grandmother and a sibling when she was struck by a Nissan Navara on the corner of Lynfield Dr and Toohey St in Caboolture about 6.47pm on Tuesday.
Paramedics treated the girl for critical injuries but she was unable to be saved and was declared dead a short time later.
Queensland Ambulance Service said two women, aged in their 20s and 40s, along with a male toddler were taken to Caboolture Hospital in stable condition, suffering from emotional distress.
The ute driver, a 49-year-old Caboolture woman, remained to assist police.
Investigators are examining whether the toddler may have run onto the road but believe the collision was a tragic accident.

CCTV from a nearby home shows the family walking on the side of the road moments before the little girl was struck.
Locals told 7NEWS they heard “harrowing and heartbreaking screams” after the accident.
One emotional neighbour recalled the moment he heard the family calling for help.
“I ran up to see what was going on and to see if there was anything that I could do,” Jason Lubbers said.
“But the injuries were a bit too far gone — by then my mother came out and was talking to the driver of the car, who was in hysterics as well and just she couldn’t believe she had done it.”

Floral tributes and teddy bears have begun to be laid at the site of the incident on Wednesday morning.
Another resident, Kevin Taylor, witnesses the aftermath and said he saw a woman clutching a child to her chest.
“It was sad — she was distraught, very, very distraught,” he said.
Taylor said a bus may have obstructed the view of the ute as the driver turned from Linfield Dr onto Toohey St.
Anyone with information, CCTV or dashcam of the incident is urged to contact police.
