This is the first time Timpf has posted about an outing after she gave birth to the couple’s first son in February, and announced that she was diagnosed with stage zero breast cancer just hours before going into labor.
Last month, the Gutfeld panelist underwent a double mastectomy to get rid of the cancer.
Timpf referenced her recent surgery in her Instagram post about Coachella on Sunday.
“Turns out u don’t need BREASTS to get backstage,” she wrote, sharing pictures of the festivities as she watched Misfits, a punk rock band, perform from VIP seats.
“Had so much fun watching my friend Jerry play Coachella!!” she added, sharing pictures with Misfits bassist Jerry Only.
Timpf is a documented Misfits fan – and her husband even wore a t-shirt supporting the band at their punk-themed baby shower back in December.
Fans flooded the comedian’s post with comments.
“No you do not! You look amazing and I am so happy for you!” said one user pointing to her comment.
“Lol. You look awesome. Can’t wait to see you back on Gutfeld,” added another.
“I am so happy to see you looking so pretty and hope you feel the same inside, too! Happy Easter!”

“When are you back on Gutfeld?” another curious fan asked.
“You look great! Glad you’re feeling better. Hope to see back on Gutfield.” a fan commented.
“Go you! You look fabulous. Keep rockin life and loving on your baby boy,” said one more.
KAT’S HEALTH JOURNEY
Timpf announced her breast cancer diagnosis after she gave birth to her baby.
“Last week, I welcomed my first child into the world,” she wrote in a social media post on February 25.
“About fifteen hours before I went into labor, I was diagnosed with breast cancer,” she added.
In a lengthy post titled “An Unconventional Birth Announcement,” Timpf explained her cancer was caught early.
“My doctor said I’m at Stage 0, which means it most likely hasn’t spread,” Timpf wrote.
Kat Timpf’s full statement
An Unconventional Birth Announcement
Last week, I welcomed my first child into the world. About fifteen hours before I went into labor, I was diagnosed with breast cancer.
Now, before you worry, my doctor says it’s Stage 0 and is confident that it almost certainly hasn’t spread. Or, as I’ve explained to the few people I’ve managed to tell about it so far: Don’t freak out. It’s just, like, a LITTLE bit of cancer.
Still, it was not a chill day. I mean, to say the least! I woke up more-than-a-week-past-due pregnant, completely consumed by doing everything I could to get the baby out. By the middle of the afternoon, I was waddling around from appointment to appointment, talking about how to get my cancer out. I sat and listened as they told me that the best course of action would likely be a double mastectomy as soon as possible. I asked all the questions I could, including if I could get a copy of my tumor ultrasound to put on the fridge next to the ultrasound of my baby. Finally, by the middle of the night, I was crawling around on the floor of my apartment in spontaneous labor, before heading to the hospital to meet my baby, whom I’d learn at the time of birth was a son.
The good news? People who work at hospitals make excellent audiences for dark humor — and, as someone whose first book was about the power of jokes to get through traumatic situations, there was really no better place for me to be. Just minutes after my boy was born, I was talking with the nurses about what a birth announcement in my situation might look like.
Should I go with “Mom and baby are doing well, except maybe for mom’s cancer, and then maybe the baby after breastfeeding is stunted by her double mastectomy,” and then shut off my phone for a week?
Anyway! These next three months of maternity leave are going to look a lot different than I’d anticipated, and I’m still getting used to my new reality. Still, as I navigate new motherhood (and new cancer) I’m learning to celebrate everything I can. I’m lucky that we found the cancer so early; I’m lucky to be my son’s mom. I mean, I know I’m biased, but the little dude absolutely rules — and not just because he might have saved my life.
Thank you all for your support, laughter, and love as I embrace this wildly unexpected chapter. Here’s to resilience, to miracles in the midst of chaos, and to finding humor and hope even on the toughest days.
Kat
Only hours after the shocking diagnosis, she gave birth to a baby boy.
“I’m lucky that we found the cancer so early; I’m lucky to be my son’s mom,” she wrote.
“I mean, I know I’m biased, but the little dude absolutely rules – and not just because he might have saved my life.”
Timpf later underwent a double mastectomy and shared updates from the hospital room in her usual sarcastic tone.
SICK TROLLS
Despite a wave of support from fans and Fox colleagues, Timpf has also been hit with online hate and fake Facebook posts.
One viral post falsely claimed she had died due to complications from treatment.
Another fake account wrongly claimed to share the first photo of her newborn.
“Guys, there are lots of fake accounts posting stuff about me on Facebook which is not accurate, including this one that says I died,” Timpf tweeted earlier this month.
BACK TO TV
While still off-air during her maternity leave, Timpf is now gearing up for her return to TV screens and she’s doing it with a twist.
She is set to join Greg Gutfeld and Jamie Lissow on a new reality show streaming on Fox Nation.
Titled What Did I Miss?, the series puts four contestants to the test after months in complete isolation.
The group was cut off from the world from January 20 to April 13 in upstate New York with no phones or internet.
Now, they’ll compete in front of a live audience to figure out what happened during the first 90 days of Trump’s administration.
They’ll be given scenarios and must guess whether each is fact or fiction.
A $500,000 grand prize is at stake.
Gutfeld will host the show, with Timpf and Lissow as panelists weighing in during the challenges.
“V excited for this. I’m on the panel w my weird little friend @jamie_lissow,” Timpf posted on X.
The first episode will drop May 12, with two more set to follow on May 13 and 14.
