Julian Ingram, 37, remains on the run over the alleged shootings of Sophie Quinn, 25, who was pregnant, and two of her relatives at Lake Cargelligo, a small town 600km west of Sydney, on Thursday.
Ingram is a known domestic violence offender and was charged last year with stalking and assaulting Ms Quinn, as well as damaging her property.
He pleaded not guilty to the charges and was on bail on Thursday when the alleged murders took place.
Shortly after the alleged murders, a foul rant was posted by fellow domestic violence offender Blake James Izzard, 27, who claimed he met Ingram – also known as ‘Hoolio’ – during a fight at a local pub before the pair became friends.
‘I had a big fight with him at The Royal in Lake Cargelligo, the bloke turned out to be a good friend of mine who stood beside me.
‘I’m sure Hoolio has his reasons, and I’m sure the bloke just f****** had enough finally.
‘I rate the bloke as a f****** hard worker, I rate him as a father, and I respect the man from where he come from and who he was.’

The rant has been heavily criticised online by women’s groups, including Australian Femicide Watch, which reminded its followers that Ingram is accused of murdering a pregnant woman and two others in cold blood.
Izzard was found guilty of domestic violence offences in 2024, including assault occasioning bodily harm, damaging property by fire, and resisting arrest.
An apprehended violence order was taken out on behalf of the victim.
His good behaviour bond ended in December.
Sophie was found dead in a black Suzuki Swift with green P‑plates after 4.30pm on Thursday, along with the body of her boyfriend, John Harris, 32.
Sophie was due to give birth to her son, Troy, in March.
Ingram then allegedly went to a nearby home and shot two people, killing Sophie’s aunt, 50‑year‑old Nerida Quinn, and seriously injuring 19‑year‑old Kaleb MacQueen.
Mr MacQueen was rushed to hospital and is in a serious but stable condition.

Ingram is now on the run from police, with a large-scale manhunt launched in the small town to find him.
On Friday morning, Western Region Command Assistant Commissioner Andy Holland confirmed the incident was linked to a ‘domestic violence relationship.’
‘We’re conducting a wide-scale search of the area around Lake Cargelligo and the adjoining villages,’ he said.
‘At this point, we’re looking for the public to help us identify both the wanted alleged offender and his vehicle.’
Ingram is described as between 165cm and 170cm tall, with a medium build, short dark hair and brown eyes.
He was last seen driving a Ford Ranger utility with NSW registration DM‑07‑GZ, which has council signage, a metal tray back, high‑visibility side markings and an emergency light bar on the roof.
Anyone who sees him has been urged to contact CrimeStoppers.
