Texas rapper G$ Lil Ronnie was killed in a broad daylight shooting that also took the life of his daughter just a day after she celebrated her fifth birthday, their family said.

The 30-year-old rapper, real name Ronnie Smith, and daughter R’Mani were shot dead just before 11 a.m. Monday when two men ran up at them while getting their car cleaned at Slappy’s Express Car Wash in Forest Hill, Fox 4 reported.

“Somebody came through shooting and killed him and the baby,” the rapper’s aunt, Stella Houston, told the outlet. “A baby!” she said of the girl who just turned 5.

“He was a rapper. He didn’t bother nobody. He didn’t target nobody. He was a family man, and he was going around rapping, okay. Why would you target him?” the aunt asked.

Authorities said two perps in a white four-door Kia were being sought over the bloodshed.

They are accused of pulling up, opening fire on the father-daughter duo and then fleeing the scene.

Becky Johnson, who lives across the street from the car wash, said she heard multiple rounds of gunfire.

“Six the first time, and then it was half a second, and I heard six more. Then a second later, I heard three,” she recalled. “I could see people fleeing for their cars.”

Cops believe they know at least one of the shooters, but have not released their identity.

Smith and his daughter were both pronounced dead at the scene.

A motive for the shooting wasn’t immediately clear but authorities said it was targeted.
