Trisha Yearwood Is The Latest Country Artist To Get A Star On The Hollywood Walk Of Fame
In a ceremony held on Monday, March 24, outside the Capitol Records building, Trisha Yearwood was honored with the 2,805th star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. She was recognized in the Recording category.
Yearwood joins a long list of country superstars in the Walk of Fame, including Dolly Parton, Blake Shelton, Carrie Underwood, and more.
“The Hollywood Chamber of Commerce is honored to welcome renowned country singer Trisha Yearwood to the iconic Hollywood Walk of Fame. Her remarkable talent has touched the hearts of millions around the world,” said Ana Martinez, producer of the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
Yearwood has been a powerhouse in country music for over three decades, starting with her breakout in 1991 when her debut single, “She’s in Love with the Boy,” topped the Billboard Country Singles chart.
Who Attended Trisha Yearwood’s Walk of Fame Ceremony?
Yearwood’s ceremony began around 11:30 am at 1750 North Vine St. She was joined by the people closest to her, including her husband Garth Brooks.
Brooks also has a star on the Walk of Fame, which he received back in 1995.
Other guests there to support Yearwood during her big moment included her friends and fellow country artists Reba McEntire and Carly Pearce, who served as guest speakers, as well as CMT radio host Cody Alan.
