Australia’s most famous radio partnership may not be over after all.
Just days after the dramatic collapse of the Kyle and Jackie O Show, Kyle Sandilands and Jackie “O” Henderson are reportedly talking again and could be considering a return to radio together.
According to the Daily Telegraph, insiders claim the pair are “talking and want to do radio again”, raising the possibility of a shock reunion after their spectacular on-air clash and sudden split last week.
The duo ended their 25-year partnership after Henderson declared she could no longer work with Sandilands, bringing an abrupt end to one of the most lucrative deals in Australian broadcasting.
The fallout followed a tense exchange on air that saw Sandilands accuse his longtime co-host of losing focus.
“You’re off with the fairies, you are unfocused, you don’t give a sh** … everyone in this building has mentioned it to me,” Sandilands told her after she raised the topic of horoscopes.
“It’s affecting other things. Your fixation on this has made you almost unworkable.”

The criticism left Henderson visibly shaken.
“I’m totally offended by you saying something like that … That’s so unfair,” she responded, her voice breaking as she fought back tears.
Following the confrontation, Sandilands was issued with a breach notice by management, which said his behaviour constituted “serious misconduct” and gave him 14 days to remedy the issue.
Soon after, ARN informed the stock exchange that the partnership had effectively come to an end.
“ARN Media Limited (ASX: A1N) announces that Ms Jacqueline Henderson has given notice that she ‘cannot continue to work with Mr Kyle Sandilands,’” the statement read.
“Accordingly, ARN has terminated the services agreement with Henderson Media Pty Ltd, under which Ms Henderson presents the Kyle and Jackie O show.
“Ms Henderson will cease to present the Kyle and Jackie O show. ARN has also offered to Ms Henderson the possibility of an alternative show on the ARN network.”
Henderson later disputed reports she had walked away from the program, insisting she had not resigned.
“Over the past few days, there has been a lot of speculation and misinformation about my departure from the show. I want to make one important point very clear: I did not quit or resign,” she said in a statement issued by her manager Gemma O’Neill.
“I am deeply saddened by the events of the past week and the possibility of the show ending. This has come as a shock to me, as it has to everyone else.
“The current media narrative does not reflect what actually occurred, and it has been truly heartbreaking to see how this has unfolded.
“At this stage, I am unable to say anything further, as I am addressing this through the appropriate legal channels.
“Thank you to everyone who has sent kind messages of support during what has been an incredibly challenging time.”
Henderson was seen in public for the first time since the fallout on Monday, photographed leaving a beauty salon near her Sydney home.

The 51-year-old kept a low profile in an all-black outfit, wearing sunglasses and looking down at her phone as she walked back to her black Range Rover.
While the future of the show remains uncertain, the fact that the pair are reportedly speaking again suggests the most dominant partnership in Australian radio may not have said its final goodbye.
