A Sydney father says he’s heartbroken and seeking justice after his teenage son was goaded into a fight after school in the city’s south-east.
Police are investigating as the education minister promises the government is doing all it can to prevent bullying.
In a park after school, a 14-year-old boy says he was forced to fight, filmed, frightened and degraded.
“Wait, are you sure those aren’t punches? Just keep fighting, bro,” voices can be heard saying in the footage.
The humiliation didn’t end with the fight. “Now you’ve got to lick the bottom of your shoe,” the boy was told.
“After the fight, they said, oh, you’ve got to lick his shoe now. I was scared to fight back because if I actually fought back, it’s not a fair fight,” the teenager said.

He knew the boys involved and while most blows weren’t landed, he was left with a bloodied lip.
“They brutally humiliated my kid. I’m so broken,” his father said, demanding police take action.
“I came here for a better life for my kids. It is totally unacceptable.”
The incident comes just days after another shocking case of bullying that’s seen three students from Kingsgrove North High charged.
“We simply can’t do enough when it comes to bullying in schools. Wherever matters are criminal, if it comes to assault, well, the police will investigate,” Education Minister Prue Car said.
The family has reported the matter to officers at Mascot Police Station, but say they’re frustrated that action is yet to be taken.
“Often they just get let off with warnings and such,” the teen said.
Police say their investigations are ongoing.
“I want justice,” the father said.
