The modern-era NBA rivalry between LeBron James and Stephen Curry added a chapter that few could have imagined. The Warriors star didn’t hesitate to give a lesson to a fan of “The King” in a video that reached over 8 million views on X.
While the 2025 NBA Playoffs Conference Finals are underway, both LeBron and Curry started their vacations earlier than expected following the elimination of the Los Angeles Lakers and Golden State Warriors in the first round and semifinals, respectively.
However, Stephen Curry made time and recorded a lesson for a LeBron James fan that quickly made waves across the NBA world. Let’s get to the facts: famous content creator MrBeast organized the challenge, and the Warriors star showed no mercy.
“There’s no human being who’s ever made better shots than Steph Curry,” MrBeast declared before the showdown began between “The Chef” and the top high school shooter in the United States.
While the Golden State Warriors point guard was given 30 seconds to make as many three-pointers as possible, his young challenger was given one full minute. The winner would take home $100,000 dollars.

Before the million-dollar challenge began, MrBeast asked Demarrion, Stephen Curry’s challenger, who he liked more between LeBron James and the Warriors star. The college player responded that he preferred LeBron. “The Chef” took it personally — he knocked down 14 three-pointers in 30 seconds and gave The King’s fan a clear lesson on how to win a shooting contest.
Demarrion ended up making 9 threes in one minute.
