Married At First Sight saw a same sex couple walk down the aisle during Tuesday night’s episode.
Chris Robinson, 38, tied the knot with Sam Stanton, 34, with the men delivering near-identical vows to one another.
As they espoused their love for the great outdoors, monogamy and the simple joys in life like sharing a morning coffee, the pair were stunned at how similar theirs were.
‘Are you reading my vows?’ a stunned Sam asked Chris at one stage, as family and friends also marvelled at how compatible the men were.
Fans tuning in at home were also delighted, with many stating that Adelaide fitness model Sam and Sydney personal trainer Chris are their new favourite couple.
‘Those two beautiful men might save my hope in love after a pretty ordinary and bruising MAFS in 2026,’ wrote one person on X.

‘Me manifesting for the boys to work,’ said another, while one more added: ‘I am loving Sam and Chris – I hope they survive the experiment.’
Someone else said: ‘I’ve never cared before if a couple worked out but I really hope Sam and Chris do.’
One fan begged: ‘Pleeeeeeaasseee let Chris & Sam work out. We’ve all suffered enough. We deserve this.’
‘Cryingggg they are so cute,’ posted one viewer, with another saying: ‘I’m not gonna be okay if they don’t work.’
Another fan wrote: ‘Omg are Chris and Sam going to be my new fave couple?!’
Someone else commented: ‘I love how Sam and Chris have virtually the same vows,’ with one more writing, ‘BEST. VOWS. EVER.’
There was a hiccup in Chris and Sam’s romance, however, after Chris asked Sam if he wanted kids.
Chris has two children on the way via surrogates, but was disheartened when Sam admitted he was not ready for a family.

However, he decided to bide his time before he told Sam about the babies, allowing their romance to deepen before sharing the news.
This isn’t the first time MAFS has featured a same-sex couple – but none have lasted the distance.
In 2016, Craig Roach and Andy John split within weeks.
In 2020, Amanda Micallef and Tash Herz made history as the first lesbian pairing, but their relationship quickly turned sour.
Michael and Stephen, who joined the experiment later, lasted only two commitment ceremonies before parting ways.
Expert Mel Schilling has previously admitted the franchise ‘got it horribly wrong’ in its early attempts.
‘It was really important to find people who genuinely wanted to find love. We didn’t want to simply match people based on sexual orientation,’ she told Metro.
