Lil Kim is set to headline the 33rd annual AIDS Walk Music Festival going down in Atlanta later this month.
Alongside Durand Bernarr as the DJ, Kim will take the stage to perform and help educate about the fight against HIV/AIDS on September 28 at Piedmont Park. The show follows a 5K run/walk through Atlanta’s historic midtown community.
This will be the second time The Queen Bee has done an event like this, having previously headlined the AIDS Walk and Music Festival in Fort Lauderdale, Florida in 2021.
In other news, Lil Kim recently announced that she’s taking her legendary show on the road – noting that her fans will be happy to know she’ll be taking a “major artist” with her for the ride.
In a video that went viral in late April, the Queen Bee revealed that the tour would be kicking off this summer, though it now seems it will be later in the year if at all.
“I got something that y’all gonna be so happy about,” she said in the video. “Oh my God. I’m going on a tour with somebody that’s major. Somebody that’s real special. Y’all gonna be so happy.”
Weeks earlier, Kim also revealed that she’d been working on a Nike collaboration with her rumored [and much younger] boyfriend.
The Brooklyn-bred rapper took to Instagram live on April 13 to showcase a new top that the company made exclusively for her.
She said: “It was a really nice Adidas party. You see this? This is Adidas. Let me show you. This shit is fire bro…I’m not gonna lie, I like this shot. They kind of gave me the fire shit. The most custom made shit. We got some really secret shit going on with Adidas.”
Kim then took off her sneaker, which also was made by Adidas.
Fans were skeptical of the “Magic Stick” MC’s new man, 24-year-old Tayy Brown.
One user wrote: “He look like a kid girl bye.” Another added: “Who child is this? And why is she lightskin?” A third said: “The fetish for dating half their age is concerning.”
Lil Kim first sparked romance rumors back in February after penning a sweet message to the up-and-coming rapper.
She later teased a romance with Antonio Brown, however, so her current relationship status is unclear.
