Joe Budden and Yung Miami have butted heads after she mocked the gold plaque he received for “Pump It Up.”

It took 20 years for Budden’s most popular single to get certified gold, and Yung Miami reacted unkindly on Thursday (August 22) to a clip of LL Cool J giving him the honor.

The City Girl reposted the video on X (formerly Twitter) and simply added six crying laughing emojis. When someone replied with “resh,” Miami added: “I was 9 im 30 now [five crying emojis].”

Budden didn’t take kindly to the insult, reposting her comment and adding: “It would be too easy…..”

Shortly after, Miami fought back, writing: “Another one bites the dust remember??? You was just celebrating when you THOUGHT I took an L. I can laugh YOU was just laughing at me so LETS LAUGH! [three crying laughter emojis].”

This isn’t the first time the Slaughterhouse rapper and the “50/50” rapper butted heads.

Back in 2023, Budden said that he was nothing short of delighted that Miami’s podcast, Caresha Please, appeared to be nearing its end.

Budden pulled up on the Need to Know Podcast crew earlier this month, where he dished on a slew of topics including Yung Miami’s podcast. After revealing that he thinks the popular REVOLT show is finished, he gleefully joked about its host receiving any more awards.

Miami’s “You was just celebrating when you THOUGHT I took an L” seems to be in response to this 2023 remark from Budden.

The City Girl rapper addressed the comment shortly after it was made.

She sent her New Year’s 2023 wishes to men who have been “praying on her downfall,” before launching into a tirade about how she had men’s “dick in a bunch” about Caresha Please.

“You know you that bitch when N-GGAS praying on your downfall,” she tweeted. “I expect that from bitches cause that’s what bitches do, but yall n-ggas LOL YALL SOME PUSSY N-GGAS!!!! I got tender dick n-ggas dick in bunch bout a podcast [crying laughing emoji] talking down on a bitch that’s 29!! ((29)) AHHHHHHHHHHHH! Put on your seatbelt bitch!!”

She added: “N-ggas not outside in the field no more they online chatting like a bitch [sobbing emojis]. ugh I hate this new era of men! OMGGGG what happen to n-ggas that don’t talk no more?!”
