Officers found the bodies of a 76-year-old woman and a 37-year-old man.

A neighbour, who did not want to be identified, told the ABC she heard screaming, saw torch light and a man running along the side of the house between 7:30 and 8:30pm.

“Then I went to the kitchen and I did hear more screaming, and my daughter came and said there were police everywhere,” she said.
