This Morning’s Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield were involved in a debate earlier over the case of baby Charlie Gard.
Charlie Gard’s parents have been fighting for the rights to get their son, who is terminally ill, to America for experimental treatment.
This Morning held a phone-in on Wednesday, allowing parents who have experienced similar situations with sick children to have their say on the case.
With Charlie’s parents having lost their legal battle against Great Ormond Street hospital, viewers have been left divided over the distressing situation.

A viewer named Angela rang in to share her own story of losing her child who was extremely ill, and she revealed how despite them agreeing he would not be resuscitated the hospital incubated him after he suffered a cardiac arrest.
As Angela detailed the “horrendous” experience she faced, Holly burst into tears over the mother’s pain.
Angela explained she wasn’t able to be with him when he died, and Holly told her she was “so sorry” before breaking down on the show.
This Morning then went to a break as Holly and the team became overwhelmed with emotion, and were unable to continue.
