This Morning fans shared their frustration as Cat Deeley and Ben Shephard‘s replacements were revealed on Monday’s instalment of the ITV show.
Last Thursday Cat, 48, and Ben, 50, revealed that they would be off our screens for a number of weeks because of the summer holidays.
The latest episode of the programme welcomed none other than Alison Hammond, 50, and Dermot O’Leary, 52, to the sofa.
Dermot said: ‘Welcome to Monday’s This Morning. We’re here for the week!’
‘Yes we are!’ Alison replied.
Some fans took to X, formerly known as Twitter, to instantly share their disappointment.

Some rushed to the X, formerly know as Twitter, to share their thoughts on Ben and Cat’s replacements
‘Can’t wait to see you.’
‘Love it when you mix it up for the summer!’
‘More Alison and Josie please.’
‘Great line up of presenters.’
Alison and Dermot usually present Friday’s slot of the show, while Cat and Ben present every Monday to Thursday.
The dynamic duo took over from Ruth Langsford, 65, and Eamonn Holmes, also 65, in 2020.
At the end of Thursday’s episode last week, Cat said: ‘Dermot and Sian will be here tomorrow.
‘That’s it from us. We’ll be back here to do it all again with you in September… if you let us!’
Ben added: ‘Don’t worry though. We’ll leave you in good hands.’
It comes after a This Morning star revealed that she is officially off the market as she showed off her stunning wedding ring during Friday’s installment of the ITV show.
Poppy O’Toole, 32 – who regularly appears on the programme to demonstrate her cooking skills – was all smiles as she flashed her rock to viewers behind the hob.
Dermot said: ‘From the dance floor, to the kitchen table, newly-married potato queen! Poppy O’Toole.’
The camera then panned in on the star waving her ring finger with a grin on her face.
This Morning airs weekdays on ITV1 from 10am and is available to stream on ITVX.
