SinceĀ Luka Doncicās arrival inĀ Los Angeles Lakers, questions have swirled about how he will adapt to the bright lights and media frenzy of LA. One Hall of Famer,Ā Chris Webber, has openly wondered how the transition will affect the Slovenian star.
Webber,Ā who has long been vocal about his aversion to Hollywood culture, shared his thoughts on the Straight Game podcast, suggesting that DoncicĀ may have to adjust to the LA spotlight.

āSome players, like myself,Ā we were anti-Hollywood. You know what I mean? We didnāt want to be Hollywood,āĀ Webber said.Ā āWe wanted to come in,Ā shut it down, and have yāall walk out of here quiet. It seemed like thatās who Luka was, and now he has to like LA. So, Iām interested inĀ how heās going to make that work.ā
From Lakers villain to fan favorite?
Ironically,Ā DoncicĀ used to relish silencing the Crypto.com Arena crowd during his time in Dallas. He wonĀ three of his last four road games against the Lakers and had developed a reputation as something of a nemesis. But in a stunning move, the Mavericks traded him to the very team he once tormented.
