The NFL Star’s Heart-Melting Posts – Hugging Cardi, Kissing Her Pregnant Belly – Have Fans Swooning Over Their Deep, Unfiltered Love
“She is my everything, my inspiration, my strength and the love of my life.” Those were the exact words Houston Texans wide receiver Stefon Diggs used to describe Cardi B in a series of emotional Instagram posts that have sent fans into a full-blown meltdown of joy. The 32-year-old NFL superstar, who began dating the Grammy-winning rapper in early 2025, proudly announced that becoming a father with Cardi is the “greatest” and “most amazing” thing he’s ever experienced. The couple is expecting their first child together – Cardi’s fourth and Diggs’ first – due in early 2026.
Diggs didn’t hold back. In one viral video viewed over 28 million times, he’s seen gently hugging Cardi from behind, kissing her growing belly, and resting his head against it while whispering, “That’s Daddy’s little MVP right there.” Another post shows the couple slow-dancing in their Houston home, Diggs cradling Cardi’s bump as she laughs and calls him “my perfect other half.” The caption simply read: “God knew what He was doing when He sent you to me. I love you more than words, Belcalis. Forever my queen.”
The internet lost it. #StefonAndCardi trended worldwide with 4.2 million posts, fans flooding the comments with crying emojis and heart-eyes. “This is the softest, most beautiful thing I’ve ever seen from Stefon,” one wrote. “He went from savage on the field to absolute mush for Cardi and that baby.” Another said, “Cardi finally found her real-life fairytale – look at how he looks at her!”
For Diggs, who’s never been a father before, the journey has been transformative. “I thought catching touchdowns was the best feeling in the world,” he told People in an exclusive. “But hearing that heartbeat, feeling those little kicks? Nothing compares. Cardi’s carrying our miracle, and I’m just trying to be the man she and our baby deserve.” Cardi, 33, has been equally glowing, posting, “He talks to the baby every night like it’s already his best friend. I’ve never felt this safe, this loved.”
The couple’s romance blossomed quietly after Cardi’s July 2024 divorce filing from Offset. They went public in September with a red-carpet debut at the CFDA Awards, Diggs calling her “my forever teammate.” Since then, he’s been by her side through every milestone – doctor visits, baby shopping, even joining her in the studio as she works on her long-awaited sophomore album.
As the due date approaches, Diggs has made it clear: football is his job, but Cardi and their child are his life. “She gave me a new purpose,” he said. “I’m playing for them now.” And with every tender belly kiss and whispered promise, the world sees a love that’s as real as it gets.
