JUST 3 MINS AGO: King Charles Has Reportedly Sent Prince Harry a Surprise Message Ahead of His UK Visit.

The 41-year-old prince did not stay at Buckingham Palace during his last visit to the UK earlier this month.

King Charles has extended an olive branch to his son, Prince Harry, with an invitation for him to stay at Buckingham Palace when he returns to the UK in September.

Prince Harry will be travelling from the US for a number of WellChild Awards engagements.

The Duke of Sussex did not stay at the Palace during his last visit to London in early July because he had reportedly not responded to the offer by the royal residence by the required deadline.

According to The Sun, the prince will be giving ample notice of acceptance to the Palace before his arrival. Prince Harry currently gives 28 days notice to both the Royal Household and police before he arrives in the UK.

King Charles’ patience had reportedly “snapped” during Prince Harry’s previous visit because his RSVP was too late.

But the trip ended on a happier note when Prince Harry, wife Meghan Markle, and their children had a private meeting with the King and Queen Camilla at Highgrove.

It is not known if the Duchess of Sussex, Archie and Lilibet will return to the UK with Prince Harry in September.

According to royal author Robert Jobson, the King’s invitation was a positive sign that his relationship with the Sussexes is improving.

“Obviously there does appear to be a sense that it’s a gradual process and things are improving,” Mr Jobson told The Sun.

King Charles is expected to be in Balmoral in September for the summer break.

Ingrid Seward, editor-in-chief of Majesty Magazine, said Prince Harry acknowledges that the offer from his father is “very generous”.

“[Harry] needs to respect that this time and be gracious about it,” she said.

“This is a chance perhaps for Harry to show his father he knows how to behave.”

A spokesman for the King and for Harry declined to comment.
