Cardi B is teasing her new music yet again.
During a live X Spaces conversation on Monday, March 31, the “Bodak Yellow” rapper told fans about her long-awaited sophomore album. Cardi, 32, specifically called out the “features” on her new music.
“The features on my album are really good,” she began, noting that she doesn’t have many guest-stars — depending on what fans would consider “a lot of features.”
“I’m working with artists, some that I have worked [with] before and some that I haven’t worked [with] before.”
The mother-of-three said that as for the artists she hadn’t collaborated with in the past, “I feel like it’s gonna really, really surprise y’all.” “And it’s such a vibe. I could tell you this – I’m 100 percent confident with this album,” she continued. “I just don’t think what I got is out there.”

Cardi wrapped up her X Spaces conversation, saying that she gave fans “some clues on my features.”
The “I Like It” singer has been candid about her second album to follow up 2018’s Invasion of Privacy, which won best rap album at the 2019 Grammy Awards. In March 2024, she claimed on her Instagram Stories that she had 100 unreleased songs that could potentially wind up on album No. 2.
“I promise y’all this year, I’m not letting my anxiety, I’m not letting what haters say, I’m not letting what fans say [stop me],” she said at the time, per an X post about the Stories update. “If I do a song, I’m gonna just f—ing drop it.”
“Well, I’ve got no choice because I’m dropping my album this year,” added Cardi.
Months later in July 2024 after podcaster Joe Budden critcized Cardi for claiming fans will never get another album from her, she took to X Spaces and fired back.
“I don’t give a f— when people talk s— about me. It’s the fact you always talk s— about me, Joe Budden,” she said at the time. “Out of nowhere, you would think I did something to this n—-… For the past two years, this n—- has only talked bad things about me, constantly.”
Cardi also doubled down on her second album being in the works. ” ‘The album is never coming–’ What are you talking about? The s— is in motion. The merch is in motion. The box sets are in motion. You don’t know s— that’s going on this side.”
