Cops say the 85-year-old took a number 158 bus from The Hollow in Earl Shilton to Hinckley, where she vanished.
Detectives reviewing footage of the missing woman then revealed that she was seen speaking to a teenage boy on a bike a short while after getting off the bus.
Tragically, police probing Glenda’s disappearance have today confirmed a body has been found.
Although formal identification is yet to take place, it is believed to be Glenda.
Her family are currently being supported by specialist officers and have asked for privacy at this difficult time.
The death is not believed to be suspicious and a file is being prepared for HM Coroner.
Glenda is described as around 4ft 11ins tall with short greyish hair.
She wears glasses which have a gold rim and she was last seen wearing a dark-coloured coat and wheeling a trolley.
