ITVX has added a compelling new romantic fantasy series to its collection of binge-worthy shows, and it sounds like a must-watch for fans of sweeping love stories.
The series, titled Fallen, is adapted from Lauren Kate’s bestselling 2009 young adult novel of the same name. It follows teenager Lucinda ‘Luce’ Price, who is sent to a cult-like rehab facility to serve time for a crime she doesn’t remember committing.

As a lifelong The Vampire Diaries fan, I will always have a massive soft spot for teen fantasy dramas – specifically the kind fuelled by a high-stakes love triangle.
In Fallen, Luce is caught between two polar-opposite fallen angels vying for her heart: the brooding Daniel and the dangerously rebellious Cam. While the Elena/Damon/Stefan trifecta will likely always hold the top spot in my heart, Daniel and Cam are making a serious play for second place.

What is Fallen about?
The series is created by Rachel Paterson (Domina), Roland Moore (Land Girls) and Claudia Bluemhuber (The Death of Sherlock Holmes). It follows teenager Luce, who is sent to Sword & Cross, a strange, cult-like rehab facility, where she meets two boys, Daniel and Cam.
The ITV logline reads: “Haunted by Shadows and disturbed by her surroundings, she questions everything around her.”
What have viewers said about the show?
The series, which won the International Emmy Award for Best Kids: Live-Action programme, has been hailed as “captivating” by viewers, with some staying up late to binge-watch the drama.
