A mother and her two young sons have been laid to rest almost two weeks after one of Sydney’s most horrific family murders, with their devastated relatives calling for an end to violence.

7NEWS can reveal the identity of the man accused of killing his wife and sons with permission from the victim’s family who want to show their faces to bring change.

Kamrun Nahar, 46, Ayman, 12, and Ayaash, 4, were found dead inside their Campbelltown home last Monday.

Police allege they were murdered by the man who should have protected them.

Police say MD Shomon Ahamed planned the brutal crime for months after hearing about the murder of two autistic boys in Perth.

On Friday, the mother and her two boys were buried together in one grave during an emotional service.

Classmates of Ayman – a talented student at a performing arts high school – were among the mourners as well as colleagues of Kamrun – who worked in IT.

Her brother Mohammad flew from Bangladesh on Thursday night to bury his sister and nephews

The family invited 7NEWS to the funeral, they want Kamrun remembered as a wonderful mother to those two boys who were her world not the victims of an unthinkable crime

“We lost three people. I’m a mother of three kids and I can’t handle that,” Bangladeshi community leader Selima Begum said.

A shattered community is now demanding more be done to support women suffering in silence.

“I know that something is going very wrong in our community, domestic violence is there, but girls are not talking,” Begum said.

The burial on Friday was made possible by the generosity of local organisations banding together.

“Particularly the Muslim Cemetries Board, Catholic Cemetries and Crematoria and Lebanese Muslim Association all came together to ensure the families could afford what was required,” Catholic Cemeteries’ Michael Cashin said.

The accused killer remains behind bars until at least July.
