“The only real consolation you can find is that we had a chance. That’s kind of a gut punch because of that. It makes it worse. You just don’t want to go out like that,” Stephen Curry confessed to the outlet The Athletic after the Warriors’ elimination from the 2025 NBA Playoffs.
Was Curry going to play Game 6 of Warriors vs. Wolves in the Playoffs?
Faced with the uncertainty of whether he could recover from a left hamstring tendon injury that kept him out of four games against the Minnesota Timberwolves and return for Game 6 to try to avoid the Warriors’ elimination, Curry said:
“The only reason it was possible was because we had three days… If you’re playing live, you can check that box and then you can go. But I never got to that point.”
