To mark ONE PIECE Day on Aug. 10, Netflix and SUPERDUPER are launching the Vintage Edition Luffy Hat, the second of three super-exclusive, super-limited drops in 2024, which are sure to sell out.

“Bringing Luffy’s hat to life has been a dream come true,” Matteo Gioli, SUPERDUPER’s creative director, told Netflix in a statement. “Our goal was to create something that fans would cherish, a piece that embodies the spirit of ONE PIECE. We’re incredibly proud of the result and can’t wait to share it with the world.”

What makes the Netflix x SUPERDUPER Vintage Edition Luffy Hat special?

This is the closest you’ll get to being gifted a straw hat straight from Shanks (Peter Gadiot) himself. In the Vintage Edition Luffy Straw Hat, the rich lore of ONE PIECE is woven into every detail. The hat is crafted from deadstock natural wheat straw known as “navarretta,” straight from SUPERDUPER’s creative studio in Florence, Italy.

The red band that wraps around the Luffy hat is deliberately distressed, giving it the appearance of having weathered a salty adventure or two. The chin strap is designed to lie flat, ensuring comfort while wearing. Inside, the hat is lined with a cotton-toned grosgrain sweatband, adding a touch of refined luxury.

How are ONE PIECE Vintage Edition Luffy Hats made?

Each hat is made to order, ensuring that yours is unique. The production journey takes place in SUPERDUPER’s creative studio and workshop at Manifattura Tabacchi in Florence.
