According to TMZ, Saweetie and YG had to have LAPD come to their residence to break up a heated argument between them.

Per the outlet, the authorities had to separate the two rappers who were arguing over a cell phone dispute, although there was no physical contact reported. Things simmered down after speaking with police and the couple clarified they were just having a heated exchange that became too loud. Upon leaving the scene, a noncriminal report was taken.

The “Nani” rapstress began dating the “Who Do You Love” rapper in April 2023 after they were spotted being cozy at Coachella, and then a month later on a romantic trip to Mexico. At the time, Saweetie also posted a photo of them two with the caption, “my pisces.”

YG also showed his public display of affection for the Bay Area artist during his set at Rolling Loud California back in March.

Saweetie joined her man on stage where he introduced her as the “Queen of this West Coast sh*t,” and she performed her 2019 smash hit, “My Type.” The sweetest moment was when she began to exit the stage and YG had to let the world know how he feels about her.

“I love you, girl. With yo fine a**,” he said as she seemingly didn’t catch on at first. Repeating himself, she finally responded, “Rich ni**as love pretty girls. I love you too, baby.”
