Netflix viewers are hooked on Dan Levy’s new comedy thriller, Big Mistakes – and it might just be the perfect weekend TV binge.

The Hollywood Reporter said the series “offers plenty of mayhem but too little logic or heart,” while Variety described the series as an “absolutely unhinged crime comedy,” adding that the “cumbersome plot dulls the comedic beats”.

Meanwhile, The Guardian handed out three stars and praised Dan Levy and the ensemble cast’s performances, adding: “Big Mistakes is far from a major error, but it isn’t quite a triumph either.”
