Kayleigh McEnany had some exciting news to share with viewers on the Monday, March 17, episode of her Fox News talk show Outnumbered — she’s pregnant.
While McEnany doesn’t generally spend too much time talking about her personal life on the show, she shared the family update during a live segment. She also gave more details about the little one’s due date and more.
“Sean and I are expecting our third child, which we’re so excited about,” the former White House press secretary, who held the position during Donald Trump‘s first term, revealed. McEnany said that her third child is due in June and confirmed that she’d reveal the baby’s sex at a later date.
After making the announcement, she joked, “With all that said, can I unbutton my jacket now? It’s very tight. I’m busting outta here.” The journalist was wearing a pink blazer, which she unbuttoned after sharing her news. She also held up a sonogram of her unborn child, which was framed.
McEnany and Gilmartin got married in 2017 and welcomed their daughter, Blake, in 2019. A son, Nash, followed in December 2022. Before having kids, McEnany underwent a preventive double mastectomy after finding out she had the BRCA mutation, which put her at higher risk for breast cancer.
While McEnany previously said that she conceived her daughter “rather quickly” and “with relative ease,” she admitted that it took much longer to conceive her son. She claimed “intensive prayer” helped her get pregnant. McEnany did not expand on whether she had any fertility issues for baby No. 3.
Before sharing her baby news, McEnany teased that she had something exciting to share on her show. “BIG ANNOUNCEMENT after the commercial break!” she wrote on X just before the end of the hour. “Turn it to
