Karoline Leavitt is balancing work and family as she took a trip to Palm Beach with her son and husband.

The youngest White House press secretary ever shared photos of her family holiday to the Florida hot spot on Instagram. She captioned her post, “Weelends in Palm Beach,” with a camera emoji and green heart emoji.

In her pictures, Karoline posed with her son, Nico, who was born in July 2024 shortly before the assassination attempt on then-presidential candidate Donald Trump. Also making an appearance in the pics was her controversial husband, real estate tycoon Nicolas Riccio. Karoline’s relationship with her husband has come under scruitny as the two share a 32-year age gap. The couple got engaged in December 2023 and got married in January 2025.

Some Instagram users joked in the comments section about Karoline’s age gap with her husband, with one writing, “Is that your father? Proud Grandpa for sure.” Others had a different viewpoint as one wrote, “Beautiful family,” with a red heart emoji.

Karoline has spoken highly of her husband, saying in an interview, “He is my greatest supporter, he’s my best friend and he’s my rock. He’s built a very successful business himself so now he’s fully supportive of me building my success in my career.”

Karoline has been open about balancing motherhood and being a working woman. She admitted that she feels “guilty” about being away from her son due to her job.

In an interview with the Christian Broadcasting Network, Karoline said, “I spend every second that I possibly can with my son when I’m home on weekends and evenings.”

She added: “I try to make it home for bedtime as much as I can throughout the week.”

Karoline also shared that she found being a new mom “challenging,” especially with the demands of her job. “I think every working mother understands the demands,” she said. “No matter where you are, what you’re doing, there is a sense of guilt.”
