IMAGINE WHAT THAT LITTLE BOY SAW 💔 RELATIVE MAKES EXPLOSIVE CLAIM ABOUT ACCUSED MUM BEFORE FOUR-YEAR-OLD’S HORRIFIC DE-ATH

A mother accused of killing and eating parts of her four-year-old son was allegedly using a dangerous party drug known as ‘liquid ecstasy’ at the time, having struggled with substance abuse from the age of 13.

The 32-year-old, who cannot be named due to laws against identifying child victims of crime in NSW, went to Wyong Police Station of her own accord on July 4 and alleged she had consumed parts of her son.

Police then went to her community housing complex on Blake Street and found the little boy’s body with significant arm injuries.

She was arrested and charged with murder, before bail was formally refused in Bail Court the following day. She remains in custody.

It was previously revealed that social services were concerned the boy suffered neglect because of his mother’s suspected drug-induced psychosis.

The woman’s childhood best friend told the Mail last week that she was kicked out of the family home as a teenager due to her alleged drug use.

Relatives in her hometown of Gunnedah, north-west NSW, also told the Mail last week that she had a stint in rehab, which social services were aware of.

Another relative has now told the Daily Mail she was regularly smoking cannabis and drinking alcohol as a young teen, before moving on to pills and gamma-hydroxybutyrate (GHB) as an adult.

GHB is an addictive party drug that produces feelings of euphoria, confidence, relaxation and sociability. Long-term side effects include hallucinations, extreme anxiety and memory problems.

The relative told the Mail the mother had used ‘uppers and downers’ and alleged she was ‘using GHB’ when her son was killed.

‘She would have known the side effects and clearly chose not to stop using GHB, and chose to while her poor little boy was in her care,’ they alleged.

‘Imagine what he would have seen and heard and felt, especially from the person he thought was his loving mother.’

Last week, the woman’s brother told the Mail that their father and an older half-brother agonised over whether they ‘could have stepped in’ to help her.

He said they knew something was wrong when she quit her job at Coles recently.

Former neighbours also thought she was ‘on drugs’.

The Mail previously revealed the mother had a number of domestic disputes with at least two members of her immediate family, dating back more than a decade.

Her own mother had an apprehended violence order against her, as did another male relative.

She was also caught up in civil disputes with a community housing group in Tamworth, and Transport for NSW after her driver’s licence was disqualified last year.

The mother of one has appeared in courts in Gunnedah, Mount Druitt and Penrith.

According to court documents seen by the Daily Mail, police will allege she killed her son between 4pm and 5pm on July 4.

Forensic investigators have been granted permission by a court to get samples of her saliva, blood, nail clippings and debris under her fingernails.

Her matter is back in Wyong Local Court on September 1.
