Davina found a suspicious lump and had a successful lumpectomy before Christmas.
She stunned fans when she told in November how she’d been quietly battling the disease – less than a year after having surgery to remove a brain tumour.
Today, the star shared a video on Instagram and mused over National Quitters Day.
She said: “It’s a bit weird having a National Quitters Day, because you kind of want to say to somebody ‘oh happy National Quitters Day’ but no, we shouldn’t be celebrating that. There’s nothing happy about that.

“We should have a ‘happy, congratulations on still going for it when everyone else is giving up day’. That’s what we should say. And it is quite difficult at this time of year because all the buzz of Christmas and New Year has subsided and it’s just a grey stormy day.”
She then revealed her health update, saying as she concluded her video: “And I in fact am going to go and have a poke around and watch something because I finished my radiotherapy today.
“It was very, very emotional.
“Much more emotional than I thought it would be and I need a bit of positivity and brilliance.
“So actually I’ve realised I’m going to watch Julia Bradbury on Begin Again. But don’t give up, you’ll get there.”
Davina captioned her post: “Today is #nationalquittersday … (laughing emojis) how depressing?? Let’s reframe this!!!
“Also wanted to add to my post … I’m good , don’t worry about me x it’s been an emotional day , but I’m relieved, grateful, happy and hopeful @beginagain the “reset podcast”
Replying to her video, one fan wrote: “Davina – I felt exactly the same when I finished my radiotherapy, the emotions are so hard to put into words ….. Be kind to you now.”
Russell T Davies said: “Well said darling, and sending love.”
Meanwhile Joe Wicks added: “Sending lots of love Davina”
Davina has also admitted that having two major health scares so close together served as a wake-up call.
Appearing on the Miss Me? podcast, she told hosts Miquita Oliver and Jordan Stephens: “Change is something that all my life, I spent running away from.
“I absolutely hated it. Change was something that really frightened me. I always loved the status quo, knowing what I was doing and feeling safe in that.
“What has happened, actually, is that I have realised that all my really big growth has come from change – and often quite painful change.”
Referring to her former addictions to heroin and alcohol, Davina continued: “I had an amazing breakthrough when I got clean in the early nineties.
“I had another huge breakthrough after I had my brain tumour removed. I realised that I needed to de-stress my life.
“Interestingly, I realised that – but then the breast cancer, which I thought was a very, very frightening thing, made me realise that I really, really had to put that into place. And I have now.”
