‘I COULDN’T BELIEVE WHAT I WAS WATCHING’ — MODEL USED AS A HUMAN FISHING BOBBER AND DRAGGED THROUGH SHARK-INFESTED WATERS IN TERRIFYING STUNT
A young model has been used as a human bobber to catch sharks in a ‘frightening’ fishing stunt in Florida.
CeCe Rose was hurled into the water with a rope tied around her ankles as part of a wild fishing challenge filmed by influencer Anthony Dawson, known as TooTurntTony.
The 26-year-old was videoed floating peacefully with a dead fish attached to her as bait, but things took a turn when she was suddenly dragged under water by a shark.
‘I was frightened at first but the water was very calming,’ she told Daily Mail following the stunt, which took place in a marina.
‘I knew if or when a shark came by it would go after the fish in the water on the hook and not me.
‘At least that’s what I hoped. But I could see how it could have gone sideways.’

CeCe Rose, 26, a Toronto-based model, was used as a human bobber by influencer Anthony Dawson to catch sharks in a ‘frightening’ fishing stunt in Florida
CeCe says she ‘tried to not let fear get the best of me’ when she agreed to film the harrowing stunt for content.
‘At the end of the day I knew a great white shark wouldn’t be in the area so I just held onto that thought,’ she added.
The Toronto-based model went on to say she spent a few hours floating in the water before a nursing shark came along and took the bait.
In the clip, CeCe could be seen enjoying the sunshine as she bobbed on her back, but things took a dark turn when she was suddenly dragged under water.
She could be heard screaming out for Anthony as she went under, resurfacing moments later as the shark continued to drag her away from the pier pavilion.
‘I’d say it was around two minutes. Could have been less it just felt that long,’ she said when asked how long she was dragged by the shark before Anthony pulled her in.
‘Tony was quick to get me out of the water fairly quickly but in the moment it felt like a long time.
‘We were filming at one of Tony’s properties. He’s been there for a while and got to know what’s in the water.

‘He felt like the risk factor was only about 10 per cent but we also had discussed worst case scenarios.’
Anthony could be seen reeling CeCe and the shark back in with a fishing rod in the video.
‘I left her alone for five minutes and we got hit,’ he said in the clip as he was seen running to grab the fishing pole.
‘Probably should have used a smaller bait. This was a complete s*** show. Luckily we were able to bring her in safely as well as the beast.’
Anthony finished the video by showing himself, CeCe, and two young boys posing with the nursing shark before they released it back into the water.
‘And nobody was harmed,’ he added as he showed a close up of wounds the rope had left around CeCe’s ankles.
The video quickly went viral online, attracting more than 10.6 million viewers, but while many found the funny side of the clip, others were left stunned.
‘This is so dangerous wtf how can people support him [right now],’ one person wrote.

‘I’ll tell you what 1 of these times something’s gonna happen and you’re definitely gonna regret it,’ a third noted.
‘I hate to say it, but damn. We all don’t come out lucky over and over after doing the most dumbest things ever. Just remember, fun always comes with a price tag.’
‘What happens when she gets ate by a shark?’ added another.
