He took a bite out of crime.

A suspected drunk driver fled into a Louisiana swamp after getting pulled over by cops on Sunday — only to run right into the jaws of a surly alligator in a caught-on-video wildlife encounter.

Victor Rivas, 40, managed to wrestle away from the hungry gator with only his arms bitten up and ran deeper into the swamp — but couldn’t escape the jaws of justice when a police drone hunted him down, the St. Charles Parish Sheriff’s Office said on Facebook.

“Reminder: Don’t drive impaired, don’t run from deputies, and definitely don’t hide in Louisiana swamps,” the post said. “Wildlife may just be cooperating with law enforcement.”

Louisiana state troopers pulled Rivas over after he was allegedly spotted driving a Toyota recklessly, with eyewitnesses reporting that he struck a concrete barrier and blew out a tire.

The car was pulled over on Interstate 310, but cops said Rivas made a run for it and jumped off the elevated highway and into the swamp.

Troopers tracked him down, but he ran deeper into the swamp — and into the jaws of the gator, police said.

“Undeterred by his injuries, Rivas continued fleeing before being located by our drone team,” the sheriff’s office said. “Drone operators communicated with deputies in the area, who apprehended Rivas as he was exiting the swamp. He was transported to the hospital and treated for non-life-threatening injuries.”
