Coleen Nolan has confirmed there’s one reality show she’s saying a firm no to.
The Loose Women panellist has appeared on the likes of I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! and Dancing On Ice, but there’s one programme that she won’t star on.
As the ITV stars discussed Simon Cowell’s return to biking after suffering a horror accident, the conversation on Tuesday’s Loose Women turned to whether they’d be willing to take risks, and Coleen revealed she’s not a risk taker – especially when it comes to sharks.
“You can’t let things stop you from carrying on your life where it scares you so much you don’t leave your house, but I think as I’ve got older, I grew up riding horses and still love horses and I’d jump on a horse and be fine but as I’ve gotten older I think, I’m not sure it’s a great idea for me to get on that horse anymore because I’ve had a few injuries in the last few years and just thought, no,” she shared.
“And to be honest with you, I’m just not a risk taker, I keep getting asked to do certain shows that are just risk, and they think it’s a great adrenaline rush.”
As Charlene White interrupted to confirm the shows aren’t risking Coleen’s life, she jumped in to say: “Some of them are! They wanted me to swim with sharks, or whatever it’s called.”

Coleen exclaimed: “I read the thing and thought, ‘Are they mad?!’ No one needs to see me in a wetsuit in primetime telly, secondly I might be the one who is harpooned because they think I’m the shark, and then it was like, not just swimming with sharks but they teach you to flip. I don’t want to learn that!”
The 60-year-old presenter isn’t the first ITV star to turn down Shark! Celebrity Infested Water.
ITV announced the terrifying reality series last year, teasing it would see various celebrities take on the most feared sea creatures in an adrenaline-fueled, challenge-heavy journey in the Bahamas.
The upcoming series will see celebrities diving with a different species of shark, with each round including bigger and more dangerous breeds.
The cast includes Ade Adepitan, Helen George, Sir Lenny Henry, Ross Noble, Dougie Poynter, Lucy Punch, and Rachel Riley.

Plimsoll Productions head of factual entertainment Karen Plumb said that the format would “blend conservation with wildly entertaining pop culture”.
“We’re constantly looking for innovative approaches to wildlife storytelling and are certain that our fish-out-of-water spin – delivering 50 years after Jaws – will transform the world’s perception of these critical predators before it’s too late,” she said.
ITV’s head of entertainment commissioning Katie Rawcliffe added the series would be a “once in a lifetime challenge for some of the bravest celebrities out there”.
But Susanna Reid and Richard Madeley were some of the first to decline, making it clear they had no desire to take part.

Speaking on Good Morning Britain, Richard said the premise of the show sounded “futuristic” and feared something going “very wrong”.
Meanwhile, Susanna admitted she’s still terrified from Jaws, saying: “[That movie] made us all terrified to be in the bath. Let alone, go into the sea! And ITV’s going to do a show where it’s called Shark! Celebrity Infested Waters.”
She added: “I’ll tell you what, I won’t be doing it! You could not pay me to swim with sharks. I presume there will be some sort of cage involved at some stage?”
