The premise within the Golden State Warriors is to remain patient during the 2025-26 NBA free agency and avoid making any major market moves. So, an X (formerly Twitter) account that follows the San Francisco team decided to make a proposal with three players who could be signed for just $10.3 million.
The Warriors were just three wins away from reaching the Western Conference Finals, and considering they lost that 2025 NBA Playoffs series against the Minnesota Timberwolves with Stephen Curry playing in only one of the five games, the arrival of a new superstar is not expected for next season.
Draymond Green established the narrative that the reinforcement Golden State needed had already arrived last season with the addition of Jimmy Butler, so the task for the front office is to strengthen the team’s depth. And now—the perfect solution has arrived!

The X account GSWCBA created a mock-up of what the Golden State Warriors’ roster could look like for the 2025–26 season and proposed that the team sign point guard De’Anthony Melton for $3 million. They then suggested adding Seth Curry, who had the best three-point shooting percentage last season (45.6%), for $3.6 million, and finally, they proposed bringing back shooting guard Gary Payton II, who is now a free agent, for another $3.6 million. Three reinforcements for just $10.3 million.
When was the last time the Golden State Warriors won an NBA title?
The Golden State Warriors are the third-most successful team in NBA history with seven championships, trailing only the Los Angeles Lakers (17 titles) and Boston Celtics (18 titles). The last time they lifted the Larry O’Brien Trophy was in 2022, when Stephen Curry claimed his fourth NBA title.
