Prime Video’s action-packed drama Citadel returned to screens after a three-year wait, and viewers have wasted no time getting stuck into the new episodes.
Billed as a “heart-racing global spy thriller,” the series follows elite spy agents whose memories were wiped by a powerful syndicate that destroyed their agency.

Priyanka Chopra Jonas as Nadia Sinh in Citadel season 2
Not only does the show boast a seriously impressive cast, led by Richard Madden, Priyanka Chopra Jonas and Stanley Tucci, but its executive produced by the Russo brothers, who are best known for directing four films in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. So it’s safe to say viewers are in good hands!
Promising to be a fast-paced, adrenaline-filled series with plenty of twists, Citadel could be one to watch for fans of character-led spy thrillers such as Black Doves and Slow Horses. Plus, if, like me, you’re a fan of Richard Madden and think he’d make an excellent James Bond, you’ll enjoy watching his performance in Citadel.

“With blockbuster action, shocking betrayals, and an expanded ensemble of mysterious agents, the stakes have never been higher – and anyone could be friend or foe.”
