Nicole Kidman has no plans to team up with her husband Keith Urban on the television screen.

When asked if the pair would ever do a TV show together at the season 2 premiere of her Hulu series Nine Perfect Strangers in Los Angeles on May 15, the actress, 57, was quick to shut down the possibility.

“No,” Kidman, who plays wellness guru Masha Dmitrichenko on Nine Perfect Strangers, told PEOPLE.  “We’re together in life, so we don’t need to do our show together. Our life is a show.”

However, the Oscar winner shared that she would be up for reprising some of her iconic TV roles, including Masha, Celeste Wright in Big Little Lies, Margaret in Expats, Grace Fraser in The Undoing, Kaitlyn Meade in Lioness and Greer Garrison Winbury in The Perfect Couple.

When asked if thinks the characters could exist together in the same universe, she responded, “That’s hilarious. I’d be up for it. As you know, I’m up for most things. I like to be able to say I’m game.”

“So I’m always ready to try things, and I have a huge passion for what I do,” she added. “I love doing what I do, and I’ve been incredibly fortunate in my journey, and I’m just always a bit excited. I don’t take any of it for granted. I’m like, ‘Okay, thank you. Thank you, universe.’ ”

Besides thriving in Hollywood, Kidman has been in a successful marriage to Urban for nearly two decades. Since tying the knot in 2006, the pair have welcomed daughter Sunday Rose in 2008, followed by daughter Faith in 2010.

Kidman told PEOPLE in December that her husband still knows how to keep her on her toes.

“I like being asked out, which he still does,” she revealed. “Seven nights ago we went to dinner in New York. We love Japanese food, but I’m open [to everything]. I like not knowing where he’s going to take me. Surprise me, baby!”

The following month, she revealed one of the keys to their lasting marriage in an interview with W Magazine.

When asked if she sings in the shower, the Moulin Rouge star shared, “I do. I also hear Keith singing in the shower, and I’ll hear his new songs forming. We have a double shower. The double-headed shower: key to a successful marriage. Separate commodes and a double-headed shower!”

Season 2 of Nine Perfect Strangers premieres Wednesday, May 21 on Hulu.
