NBC’s beloved talent competition America’s Got Talent is set to return for its landmark 20th season this summer, and fans can’t wait to meet the Season 20 lineup of stars.
Preliminary AGT auditions have wrapped filming, which means that the new season is just around the corner. AGT alum Mel B, famous for her dynamite judging skills and next-level talent as a Spice Girl, rejoins the show after a six-season hiatus, leading fans to bid adieu to Heidi Klum. Mel B will weigh in on the competition alongside returning Judges Simon Cowell, Howie Mandel, and Sofía Vergara. Terry Crews will continue his role as the charismatic host, marking his seventh consecutive season.
AGT promises to deliver the thrills as it celebrates two decades of larger-than-life spectacles and mind-blowing talents. So when will the series return this summer, and what is the best time to tune in?

When does Season 20 of America’s Got Talent start in 2025?
AGT returns with its Season 20 premiere on Tuesday, May 27 at 8/7c. The Live Shows will begin Tuesday, August 19 at 8/7c, allowing viewers the weekly opportunity to vote for their favorite Acts, with results airing on Wednesday nights at 8/7c.

Over the years, we’ve seen amazing Acts and met truly incredible people,” AGT Judge Cowell said in a statement. “It’s true that two or three minutes can change your life, and I want to thank every Contestant, all the fans who have supported the show every year, and to NBC for believing in this show. And of course, the amazing team, past and present, who make the show so special. Now, as always, I am really excited to meet the Contestants this year.”
Once Season 20 arrives, new episodes of America’s Got Talent will air on Tuesdays at 8/7c on NBC and be available to stream the next day on Peacock.
