Amid all the hardship and talk show exit rumors, the singer is hopeful of a fairytale ending with the right person by her side. A source exclusively told Life & Style that the songwriter would “love to be pursued” post-divorce and hopes to find a “decent guy” over time.

After the dramatic divorce battle with ex-husband cum manager, Brandon Blackstock, Kelly Clarkson still believes in love. As per a source, the singer is “not obsessing about finding a boyfriend” at the moment. She is, in fact, looking forward to enjoying her single status and is willing to wait for Mr. Right to come by.

“She does admit that she’d love to meet someone special, it’s just a question of how to make it happen,” the source told Life & Style. However, the insider clarified that the 43-year-old songwriter is not doing anything extra to find love. She has not been going on dating sites, hiring a matchmaker, or sliding into other celebrities’ DMs to find love because “she’s far too shy to pull something like that off.”

Instead, the talk show host is “quietly hoping that someone famous might try that with her, she’d love to be pursued.” The source even revealed that Clarkson hopes that “someone she knows sets her up with a decent guy.” Since the mom of two also knows a lot of people, she is optimistic that meeting the right person will “happen organically.” Her willingness to find love again shows that Clarkson has “her confidence back.” Giving an update on her current life, the Life & Style insider further shared that she is “in a good place.”
