Bruno Tonioli is vowing to outdo Amanda Holden with his outfits on Britain’s Got Talent.

The 69-year-old plans to make sure he’s flashing more flesh than her when its live shows kick off tonight. He told the Daily Star: “I can’t tell you what I’m going to wear, but I can say that I’m going to measure Amanda’s decolletage and I’m going to make sure that mine are deeper!”

Bruno admits starring alongside Amanda as well as Alesha Dixon makes him feel insecure about his image. He added: “They look stunning… oh, my God. One time I was thinking, ‘I’m going to have to have surgery to stay next to them’. I’m not going to, but I want to!”

Amanda is famed for wearing outfits that are so racy they spark complaints to media watchdog Ofcom.

But Bruno thinks it’s great that she does it.

He said: “It’s glamorous. It is glitzy. Amanda and Alesha look fantastic. People look forward to seeing what they’re wearing.

“It is part of the experience.”

Britain’s Got Talent has also been hit by Ofcom complaints over some of the acts on this year’s series.

They include spooky performer Auzzy Blood, who will be competing on the first semi final heat, which kicks off tonight at 7pm on ITV1.

Bruno thinks it’s good that the show is dividing opinion and getting people talking.

He said: “What is incredible and what I like about this show is that we don’t know what’s going to happen.

“The worst thing you can do is be boring. We’re definitely not boring.”

The Daily Star previously reported that Bruno Tonioli’s eye-watering salary to be a judge on Britain’s Got Talent has been uncovered.

Italian star Bruno, 68, regularly enthrals audiences across the UK and the world with his fiery passion and love for the job. Having first appeared as a professional dancer on the likes of Elton John’s music video for I’m Still Standing, Bruno has gone on to dominate competitive TV.

Back in 2004, Bruno got his first break in TV as a judge on then-unheard of Strictly Come Dancing. His enthusiasm for the show and the passion of his critiques set him apart from the other judges and gained him a huge fanbase, leading to other opportunities.
