Most gardening clubs are probably hiding a secret or two, but we’d bet it’s not murder. Unless, that is, you’re one of the four compelling central characters at the heart of Grosse Pointe Garden Society, a masterful mystery thriller coming to ITV. Let’s just say they’re not just potting plants!

In fact, in Grosse Pointe Garden Society, which first aired (and wowed audiences) in the US earlier this year, Alice (AnnaSophia Robb), Birdie (Melissa Fumero), Catherine (Aja Naomi King) and Brett (Ben Rappaport), are forced to bury a body in their own flowerbeds after becoming involved in a murder. But how long will their dark secret remain unearthed?

If you’re a fan of Slow Horses, then Down Cemetery Road is a must-watch, not least because it comes from the same writer, Mick Herron. The series follows private investigator Zoë Boehm (Emma Thompson) and art conservationist Sarah Trafford (Ruth Wilson) as they hunt for a young girl who mysteriously vanished after a house fire in Oxford. You can watch Down Cemetery Road on Apple TV+. We’d also give 10/10 to Lazarus– which is Harlan Coben’s first original TV series idea. The series stars The Count of Monte Cristo‘s Sam Claflin as forensic psychologist Laz, who returns to his family home after his father (Bill Nighy)’s death, where he becomes embroiled in a series of cold case murders. You can watch Lazarus on Prime Video.
