A surprising controversy has emerged around 17-year-old Barcelona wonderkid Lamine Yamal, after former adult actress and influencer Claudia Bavel, 29, accused him of persistently messaging her and inviting her to private parties. The Spanish media picked up the story after Bavel gave an interview claiming that Yamal had sent her “a thousand messages,” asking her to attend parties and telling her he “allows me to be with him even if he’s underage.”

Bavel said their exchange began in September 2024 and insisted that she refused to meet him after learning his age. She claims to have audio recordings as proof, stating that Yamal allegedly became hostile when she declined and later sent her threatening messages. “I have everything saved,” she told reporters. “I didn’t want to meet someone underage. I said no.” She maintains that she never went to his house and that all communication remained online.
Yamal, currently with Spain at Euro 2024, has firmly denied her accusations. Speaking on Spanish television program TardeAR, the Barcelona forward said he has never met Bavel and that any such claims are false. “I don’t know her. I’ve never seen her in person,” he said. “My mother doesn’t allow women into the house. She’s very strict.”
He went further, saying that if any contact existed, he was the one who declined to meet, not the other way around. “There are no pictures. There was nothing. She never came to my house because I said no.” Yamal even shared his own audio recording, which he claims proves that he rejected her advances.

Both sides agree on one key detail — they never met in person. But the disagreement lies in who pursued whom, and whether there were threats involved. Bavel says she refused due to Yamal’s age and was later harassed, while Yamal says he was the one who refused and never invited her to anything.
The age difference — 17 and 29 — adds sensitivity to the situation, especially with Yamal currently in the spotlight as Spain’s breakout star. While there is no indication of legal action being taken at this point, the controversy has raised eyebrows in both the football and entertainment worlds. No official comment has been made by FC Barcelona or Yamal’s management, but the topic continues to circulate in Spanish media and online forums.
The truth may remain unclear without verified recordings, but one thing is certain: the timing and nature of these claims have generated significant media attention, putting additional pressure on one of football’s most promising young talents.
